The Year for Ken Rosskopf

This was a special year. We could share the stats of how many personal injury cases we settled, how much money we got for our clients, how we fought for justice on behalf of injured people in Georgia. This year the only figure that really matters is one that can’t be measured in units, numbers, or graphs, because how do you measure the loss of a great friend?

Ken Rosskopf was one of a kind. He loved life and lived an incredible one. We knew him as a champion for the rights of cyclists, as a lawyer for injured cyclists, as a mentor and just a wonderful human being. We worked together for many years until his retirement from legal practice and we continued working on advocacy projects together up until his last day. We are proud to carry forward his professional legacy and his commitment to the cycling community. We will always be inspired by his joy for riding bikes and his enthusiasm for getting more people on bicycles. Our front lawn now displays a permanent bicycle sculpture and plaque in Ken’s memory, and we are discussing an annual event in his honor.

Losing a loved one puts things into perspective and invites you to prioritize what matters in life. As a personal injury law firm, we remain fully committed to obtaining justice and financial compensation for injured people in Georgia through aggressive litigation, assertive negotiations, and hard work. But what really matters is the intangible part - how we make our clients feel, how we put care into action through compassion, good communication, and just pouring our hearts into our legal profession. Barack Obama said, "We are reminded that, in the fleeting time we have on this Earth, what matters is not wealth, or status, or power, or fame, but rather how well we have loved and what small part we have played in making the lives of other people better."

As we wrap up 2025, we appreciate every person who put their trust in our law firm this year, whether it was for the first time or as returning client. We also appreciate every one of our team members, from our attorneys to our interns - they are the heart of this law firm. In 2026, we hope to work and live more intentionally, to be more present in the moments that matter to our clients and our co-workers, and to continue to be the law firm that Ken Rosskopf was so proud to be part of.

We wish you have a great holiday season and wonderful new year ahead!
